1. Bottle type: Indonesia Honey jar; 2. Colour: Black and white; 3. Capacity: 450-500ml; 4. Technic applied: Screen printing and spray.
In the early February 2021, we got an order from Jakarta Indonesia. The client is selling food products and supplements, and most of their products are customised items, therefore they really emphasise on good product packaging and they design every product they have, and hoping that we can produce a good quality glass honey jar for them.
In order to produce this honey jar, at first we need to produce a french square glass jar, then we have to spray the bottle. After that, we need to wait for the spray to be dried and then we use screen printing method to print wordings on the jar.
This is the french square bottles shape:

We were not the original supplier. They have appointed some other glass bottle companies to produce it for them. However, a few problems occurred:
Problem 1: Easy Scratched
The spray is not a good quality spray, and also it’s not thick enough, causing the spray is easily peeled off or easily scratched.

Problem 2: Gasket Problem
Since the honey is made of raw honey, it has natural gas that tends to push the gasket out, making the jar leaks easily. Sometimes the clients feel shocked when they open the lid, as the gasket just pop out. Here we attach a video to show the problem.
Problem 3: Spray Problem
Since there is a machinery and technical problem which cannot be overcome, the spray looks uneven. It doesn’t look straight when you zoom in to view it. Here we have drawn a red line to highlight the uneven issue.

Problem 3: Spray Problem
Then, the client apppointed us to manufacture it for them. Then, all these technical problem are solved. Here we attach a video to show you the finished spray product and it looks even.
